England Premier League

-Newcastle vs Liverpool-
Liverpool are going to have play some major catch up if they want to be contenders against Arsenal and Manchester United at the top of the table, and they need a win soon. There couldn’t have been any better news for Benitez with Torres coming back in the squad with Agger and Kewel being maybes for come backs as well. With injured up Newcastle missing Owen and Taylor now along with their other injuries in defense, I think Liverpool should definitely handle it.

Liverpool -1/2 … +103

-Birmingham vs Portsmouth-
Birmingham likes to do well against Portsmouth. Last time Portsmouth played in Birmingham they had a 5-0 beat down! In past 10 years Portsmouth haven’t been able to find a victory in Birmingham, and I’m sticking with Birmingham to keep it that way.

-Arsenal vs Wigan-
I know Wigan has been horrible thus far, but with all the injuries Arsenal is facing I can’t see them having a blow out against Wigan. They are missing their 2 biggest reasons they have been doing so well this season without having Fabregas and Hleb on the field. It doesn’t help with Van Persie still out and also exluding Flamini, Diaby, and Gilberto now. I’m sticking to Wigan and hoping they don’t lose by 3. Since this Arsenal squad is so deep in I’m going to keep it a small play though, they still have a lot of talent in their squad. I’m also putting a unit on the under as well.

-Manchester City vs Reading-
Reading’s defense has been conceding plenty of goals and they have been able to find the back of the net as well. Manchester City on the other hand have quieted down lately but I think they show their stuff against Reading tomorrow. I’m hoping that with Duberry out in defense for Reading that they will continue conceding those goals. I’m sticking with the over.

Over 2.5 Goals … +104

-Everton vs Sunderland-
I’m hoping Sunderland bring back that attacking flare that was so fun to watch earlier this season. With Cole, York, and Whitehead boosting the squad with their returns I hope they start finding the back of the net again. I’m going with the over and hoping to see a fun game.

Spain La Liga

-Barcelona vs Recreativo Huelva-
Barcelona are in desperate need for a win. Their away form has been horrible but they have been making it up with their home form. They always beat up on Huelva and I think they will find a way to do it tomorrow as well, lets just hope its not a 1-0 victory!

Wow Kid A, you aren't playing the Chelsea/Derby game? Or the Man United/Bolton game? Those games look really easy.

My heavy leans are Liverpool -0.5, Man United -1 and -1.5 and Chelsea -1.5

Can't believe chelsea is only laying 1.5 goals against the crappiest team in the EPL. They are going to get trashed I think.

Thanks afeldm1, lets hope we go on one hell of a run then =)

Iceman, the reason I'm not playing Chelsea is because they are going to be missing Carvalho and Drogba while Derby are in desperate mode for any kind of points. The obvious pick would be Chelsea here given Derby's past games this season, but I can't back Chelsea to win by 2 goals in this spot. I think the 1.5 spread is going to go either way here and Derby is going to put up a hard fight, and god knows I can't back such a horrible team haha, so I decided to just stay away. I also feel the same with about ManU, if C. Ronaldo doesn't have a good game they are going to blow it without Rooney. Just like Derby, Bolton are in desperate need of points at home so I can't back ManU to win by 2 without Rooney, I'd rather just sit and watch those games in a relaxed state of mind. GL with your plays though, I'll be rooting for ya =)

Man United website just confirmed that Tevez will play tomorrow against Bolton. Paired up with Saha up front, even without Rooney, this makes a lethal combo. What makes you say Ronaldo won't have a good game?

As far as Derby goes, they got drilled by West Ham 5-0. Even without Drogba or Carvalho, I can't see them have too much of a hard time against Derby. The play isn't really a play on Chelsea, but a huge fade on Derby. They are desperate, yes, but they also flat out suck and will for sure be relegated after the season.

I'm not saying Ronaldo won't have a good game, just stating if he doesn't have a good day tomorrow (which tends to happen a lot with big clubs after international breaks because their players could be exhausted from all the traveling and their games) then the supply of balls to Tevez won't be the same without Rooney since he gave Tevez great opportunities to score, if by any chance Ronaldo isn't on top of his game then it could get ugly. Logically speaking you are right, Saha and Tevez up front with C. Ronaldo and Giggs feeding them balls ManU should beat up on Bolton, I just can't back ManU at this spot. I'm not taking a side between Bolton and ManU, just feel none of them are worth betting on.

I see you're point about fading Derby. I think its the fact that Chelsea need to prove themselves to me that has made me stay away from big spreads for them to cover, they've been really inconsistent this season and you never know when they are going to fall asleep on the pitch, for me its more of laying that many goals on the road on an inconsistent team, even though Derby are consistently getting beat downs haha. They are just two games that I'd rather watch than wager.

Thanks Dante =)

Solid day guys, went 4-1-1 for a +6.10 unit win on the day, only bet of the bunch losing was Birmingham. Barcelona was starting to scare me being tied at 0-0 with less than 30 minutes to go, but thank god they started finding the back of the net =)
